There are three religions in Nepal: Hinduism, Buddhism, and Tourism.
Earlier this week, in Kathmandu, we explored the many temples surrounded by the ruins from the 2015 earthquake . The streets bustled with motorcycles and cars and the air was choked with pollution and dust. Amidst it all, an endless supply of temples, monasteries and palaces glittered. We've found the Nepali people to be incredibly friendly. And the dumplings and samosas are amazing. A highlight was the medieval town of Bhaktapur with its four diverse squares filled with palaces and temples, our communion with a group of goat herder's and their flock, eating king curd yogurt on a rooftop terrace, and the monkey temple in Kathmandu for its religion fervor and army of monkeys.
Hi Ilana and Steve! Wow everything looks so great. Thanks so much for sharing. Love to you both. Victoria
